Happy New Year!

We had a huge bash at our place tonight with a very selective guest list. Only three people got in. I bet you can't guess who they were. That's silly, you know that it was Mommy, Daddy and me (well... plus all my dollies & stuffed animals, of course). We had lots of yummy food & music like the big people parties and we were all dressed up for the event. We started early and went until almost 7pm. Super Crazy! I really liked the sparkling cider but I think it went to my head. I got a bit crazy later in the evening. I'm sure Mommy and Daddy will be paying for that in the morning. Don't they know they should have cut me off after the first cup? I know Mommy and Daddy wanted to go out late tonight but I think I got them tired enough that they will appreciate celebrating the New Year early so they can get some sleep before I wake them up around 6am. I know some of you have been waiting for photos from Christmas. I will get them up soon. I've been so busy playing with all my new toys that I kind of forgot. I know 2011 will be a great year. This is the year I turn 3!

What's a girl to do?

Mommy was doing some dishes when she heard a crunching sound. This is what she found.

Dislocated Elbow

Kana fell walking home from the park with the nanny on Friday. Her arm was hanging limp and she said her left hand hurt. It was so awful to see her suffering. We thought her hand might be broken after she was awake most of the night. She is a lefty, so she couldn't even suck her favorite thumb to get to sleep. We took her to Pediatric Urgent Care this morning and found out that her elbow had been dislocated. Luckily, nothing was broken. The doctor popped it back in and gave Kana some stickers. She's been a happy camper ever since. She took a nice long nap and finally got to eat sushi (CA Rolls) that she's been asking for all week.

Halloween is in Full Effect

Wow! It's been a crazy couple of weeks and it's gonna get crazier. Let me see if I can get you all caught up. First, Mommy wants me to share the news about my voluminous vocabulary and that I can sing my ABC's. Are you impressed? You should be. All the mommies in my playgroup are always raving about my impressive vocabulary. Apparently  most kids my age can speak only a few words and are just starting to combine words in short phrases. That was soooo 8 months ago.

I got to go to a pumpkin patch with mommy and the rest of my toddler class last week. As you can see I was/am an angel. I got to play with all the pumpkins, jump in the bounce house and feed  the animals. I even brought home a couple of pumpkins for decorations outside my door. A few days later Auntie Steff and Uncle Bob came to town for a visit. I was spoiled with lots of great gifts. I made sure to take them to all the hot spots in town, especially Pumpkins in the Park at Fort Lots 'O Fun. I decorated a pumpkin, had some snacks and took a bunch pictures with my friends. Good times!
I'm really quite the busy little lady this fall with my ballet class, library storytime sessions, & toddler class. Sometimes I dance around a lot and other times I just want to sit in mommy's lap and watch the other kids. It's hit or miss with me.

I got to go to Disneyland again, with daddy this time! We drove there after he got home from school on Monday and I was so excited to show him around. Our first stop was the....... Tiki Room, of course. It's daddy and my favorite. From there we went to Toontown and then rode the Teacups. We tried to ride Nemo but it broke down while we were in line and it was already getting close to bed time, so we decided to just head home. Maybe next time. I sure love my beauty rest. I sleep 7pm-7am plus a 2-3 hour nap at noon. I always let mommy know when I am ready to go home, right on schedule.

Today we went to the Pumpkin Races in Manhattan Beach. I got to Trick or Treat in my Batgirl costume at some of the shops. Did you know if you say "Trick or Treat" people give you candy? This is one of the greatest things in the world! I love candy, especially chocolate and I couldn't wait to get into a piece. After Trick or Treating, we went down to the Pumpkin Races and checked out the festival. Next we went over to the church Halloween party. I got to eat some delicious dinner, decorate cookies and bob for donuts. What a great time.
Nana is supposed to come see me tomorrow and stay for the week. I'm so excited. I'm going to show her how I go pee pee in the potty!
