Happy Halloween

Sticker chart

Kana earned 10 stickers for good behavior in the past couple weeks. Her reward was a trip to ART ZONE today. She loves it there! Her friend couldn't make it, so that was a bummer, but Kana still enjoyed family time. She's been making lots of new friends at school. The girls are all very sweet in her class this year. They all play at the park adjacent to the school on most days. She a lot more social & active this year. It's nice to see her so happy!

Pumpkin Patch

Kana enjoyed her school field trip to the pumpkin patch today. She still refuses to go on the pony ride, but had a blast wearing dad's silly hat & taking pictures of the animals on my iPhone!

Kana loves preschool this year!!! ;0)

It's such a relief to have no tears at drop off this week! Kana has been showing good progress at school. The co-op preschool in Hermosa Beach is from 9am-12pm m-f, with one parent work day per week. She's making lots of new friends and loves her teacher, Mrs.Varey. She clung to moms (& maddy's sweet dad) the first couple weeks, but she's making lots of new friends her own age now! We're so excited!!! She's been so happy!

Bookie

Kana found these little monkey's at Nordstrom Rack. She wanted to buy one for baby Leo. So we got them both one. She named hers "Bookie", because she likes to read so many books! Too cute!!!
We spent the day reading at the library as a treat (Kana chose her favorite activity) for behaving so well at school, ballet & the gym yesterday!

Stats from her 4 year check up today:
Height 41 1/2 inches (83%)
Weight 42.2 lbs (90%)
Her pediatrician says Kana's still very tall so I can't figure out why she's one of the shortest kids in class this year! I'm pretty sure those other girls are close to 6 years old or something!
