Swim

Kana loved her 2 week summer swim class! She wants to buy a new swim noodle for teacher Tanya with her own money because she says the noodles at swim schools have bites in them. Lol We explained that the city of Torrance buys the swim equipment. She says that's ok, teacher Tanya can take hers home & no kids can take a bite out of it then. Too cute!!! She didn't like swim lessons last year so we're so relieved she's finally having fun in the pool. Having friends at school that have swim parties has given her motivation to learn now.

Just being a little older & having a cool female swim teacher helped too! Funny that we paid a fortune at the swim school for semi-privates last year & when she refused to do anything & cried. This year she's in the community class ($50 for 10 sessions) & she loves it! We signed her up for another 2 weeks in August.
