Marble jar is full!

Kana filled her marble jar after about 4 months of earning marbles for good behavior. She chose Art Zone as her reward. Auntie Steff promised her that she would fly in when the jar was full. Kana was excited about that! Kana also got to choose one friend to join her on her reward day. She picked her BFF Delilah from school. I took the girls to Chicken Djon for an early dinner, followed by Menchees frozen yogurt for dessert. We had a special reservation at Art Zone at 4:30pm even though they didn't have open art time today.  They girls had a blast! We're so proud of Kana for being such a good girl! The marble jar has helped her learn how to get ready for school quickly & be on her best behavior to earn those marbles!  She's working towards a princess makeover at Downtown Disney next! 😄

Kinderclub Sport Ball started today!

Kana loved day 1 of after school Sport Ball class. It helped that the class was full of mostly girls & I got 3 of her friends to sign up with her. They had a blast! Yoga is cancelled this session so we tried sport ball. She likes it so much she says she wants to take both classes next session!

Kana is the first in class to learn her sight words. She's soooo excited to be the only kid past the yellow level! 

Summer in November

It was 90 degrees in LA today! Kana chose a park playdate over Disneyland! She invited 3 boys from her class and her bff Delilah. The kids were playing with the water from the drinking fountain most of the day. Kana had to take her shirt off to run with the boys, of course.  Lol 

She was playing "wedding" with Tyler K. He's a sweetheart. They play so nice together. She's been having a great week, super happy, agreeable & full of energy!  Last week it was tantrum & whining city, so we're happy that's changed!  Little things really set her off. One day her teacher didn't move her name up as high as usual on the behavior chart because the entire class was acting up. Kana melted down for 5 days over that. She's very sensitive! Ugh! Once I had her teacher talk to her about it & give her a hug, all was well in the world again.  The tough part is trying to figure out what little thing is upsetting her. It's challenging sometimes.  Overall she's a very well behaved child & loves to follow the rules.... And make sure everyone else does too... In comes the bossiness... But that's another story. ;0)
