First Day of Kindergarten

We love walking to school just 1 block away this year!  Kana switched to PM Kinder with Ms.Roman last minute, well after mom continuously called & bugged the office for the preferred schedule change... We're so happy! She loves her class & surprisingly, really enjoys the Child Development Center program before school 3x a week!  She has a blast, loves the teacher & they even do Yoga!  She's a happy, confident girl this school year! She's grown so much!

Kana lost her 2nd tooth today

My tooth!!!!

I lost my first tooth today. It wasn't the one mom and dad were expecting to come out first. I was just fiddling with it with my tongue and pop, out it came. I was so surprised and excited. I can't wait to put it under my pillow tonight and see what the tooth fairy will bring.

Springtime

We've been busy trying to stay cool in this heat wave. Kana went swimming in the gym & community pools every day last week to beat the heat.  We also spent a lot of time at the beach. She really loves her school and her yoga, sportball & ballet classes. Reading, art & singing are her favorite hobbies. She has great friends and is a class leader. The change in her confidence from last year is huge. She's very outgoing & makes friends everywhere she goes.

Marble jar is full!

Kana filled her marble jar after about 4 months of earning marbles for good behavior. She chose Art Zone as her reward. Auntie Steff promised her that she would fly in when the jar was full. Kana was excited about that! Kana also got to choose one friend to join her on her reward day. She picked her BFF Delilah from school. I took the girls to Chicken Djon for an early dinner, followed by Menchees frozen yogurt for dessert. We had a special reservation at Art Zone at 4:30pm even though they didn't have open art time today.  They girls had a blast! We're so proud of Kana for being such a good girl! The marble jar has helped her learn how to get ready for school quickly & be on her best behavior to earn those marbles!  She's working towards a princess makeover at Downtown Disney next! 😄
