Daddy is officially off work for the next two months so that means Mommy is working her tail off for the next two months. She is flying all over the world; China, Italy, the UK. It sure sounds exciting but I miss my mommy. When Mommy told me she was going to China I immediately told her to bring me presents and she didn't disappoint. I gave her a much more challenging task for Italy. My request was a pink cookie and a blue cookie.
Daddy has been taking good care of me and as you can see he has me earning my keep in the kitchen. I have lots of fun helping out mainly because I get to sample everything and I do mean everything.

Home with Dada
Mommy is in China right now but Dada is home to take care of me now that school is over. I miss mommy but I told her to bring me presents and maybe a new chewy for Kiwi. I hear Bejing is a great place to shop. Gung Gung will be quite proud of my pronunciation of Bejing. It must be my Chinese genes.
I am really enjoying my new backyard. Mommy got fed up with the dirt, I mean grass patch in our backyard so they finally put in Turf for me and Kiwi. Now I can play in the backyard all the time and swing on the rings! Dada says this is the first time he has ever just sat in the backyard. It's really nice. It's a good think mommy picked up that 30 hour flight to China to start paying for it!
I got to ride the train today. I saw it on Thursday when we were at CostCo so Dada took me for a ride today. It was fun! It wasn't like the steam choo choo at Disneyland just a light rail train but it was neat because I was way up high and could see all over. I sat on Dada's lap so I could see out. We stopped at a Farmer's Market on our way home and I ate lots of samples. What can I say, I a growing girl. BTW, I must point out my new board shorts. Daddy got me new swim trunks and a rash guard for the summer. I out grew my old rash guards months ago and now I look like a sausage bursting out of its casing. I know the shorts are for swimming but I have been insisting on wearing them for the past two days, so when Dada was dressing me this morning I made sure to find them, hand them to him and say ON! How could he refuse?

Memorial Weekend Wrapup
It has been a busy two weeks since I last posted. Papa and Gramma were down in Newport Beach last week so I got to go down there 3 times to visit. I got to eat special treats, go swimming and play in the sand. I impressed everyone with my growing vocabulary. I have been hanging out with my friend Anna-Anna on Wednesdays at our Fun Time class and at the Aquarium. I even got to go to her 2nd birthday party this past Sunday. Two weeks ago mommy and daddy took me to the SCUBA exhibition in Long Beach. I can't wait until I'm old enough to dive! Since the weather has been nice I've spent a lot of time playing with my kitchen on the balcony and going to the beach. Just the other day a big present showed up on the doorstep. My very own pink car! Thank you Auntie Steff. I haven't figured out how to make the car go forward with my feet yet, but I like to get out and push. It's good exercise and I'm strong. I was very concerned that it didn't come with a seatbelt, safety is important you know. Mommy saved the day and gave me a special pink belt to wear in the car, so I am ok now. Thanks to H & O for my packages of books also. I'm having a great time reading all my new stories!

Mother's Day
I had the most fantastic weekend. Mommy and Daddy took me to Maui Thursday night, to visit Nana and Gung Gung who were spending the week there. I'll let you in on a little secret, even though I look happy in all the pictures I did have a few issues and in doing so Mommy and Daddy didn't get to relax as much(if at all) as they thought they would. I refused to sleep on the evening flight to Maui and I let everyone on the plane know about my displeasure. Mommy was so embarrassed to be "that lady" on the plane with the "crazy kid" that she dislikes when she's working a flight. I finally passed out 45 minutes before landing and daddy had to carry me off the plane in my car seat. Nana and Gung Gung were waiting to pick us up so we headed straight for the hotel. Unfortunately, it was almost an hour before we got to the hotel and into our room. I wasn't happy about the loaner crib from the hotel and I made sure to voice my complaints to the management. By the time I go to sleep it was after midnight in California and I'm usually asleep my 7pm. I woke up at 3am Maui time and freaked out. I didn't recognize anything and I was unsure of where I was. Daddy first gave me a tour of the hotel room and then took me downstairs to explore the property. I ran all over and had a great time. So much that I got sleepy again and I fell asleep in the big bed with Mommy and Daddy, facing the opposite direction, kicking them in the head.
I had a fantastic time, impressed Gung Gung with my gigantic appetite, had a blast with Nana on the beach, didn't sleep much, made sure Mommy and Daddy didn't sleep much either and loved my Maui vacation. On the way home, Sunday night, I slept the entire flight and didn't cry or complain once. That was my gift to Mommy for mother's day. I was excited to see Kiwi when I go home and then I passed out in my crib for another 4 hours.
P.S. The real highlight of the trip was the bacon and eggies at CJ's. I ate breakfast there twice in three days. Yummy Tummy!

Happy Girl Goes to the Bank
I'm 20 months old today.
I love my piggy bank! I ask Dada for "money" every day when he comes home from work. It's great fun!
I have been out sick with Roseola the past couple of weeks, so the blog has really been neglected. Don't worry though, Mommy is still on top of the picture taking, there is not one moment of my life that hasn't been captured on film. Now that she has the Iphone, we even send Daddy fun videos each day so he doesn't miss out on anything.
Great Gram was here last weekend with Aunt Elaine and Baby E. We had a great time! I miss them a lot. I also went to my 1st Yankees game and got to eat my 1st chipwich!
