I skipped nap yesterday because of the excitement of Sam's B-day party with all my best friends, so I passed out as soon as we got home at 5:45pm! Woke at 8:30am for a Disneyland playdate this morning. What a fun start to the week. Mommy keeps telling me it's not normal to go to Disneyland all the time. Some kids have to travel really far & only get to go once in their lives. I don't know what she's talking about. Don't all kids have playdates at the beach & Disneyland every week? Do you mean there are actually places where it's not 69 degrees year round?!?
I don't even know how lucky I am. It's good to be a kid. ;o)
I'm registered for the Co-op Preschool in the fall. I'm pretty excited that the kids go 3x a week and the mommies get to come 1x a week. I think it will be a lot of fun!

An Evening at Disney

Mommy and Daddy took me to Disneyland yesterday afternoon. It was a complete surprise! I had so much fun on the carousel & the bear playground at CA Adventure. I was such a good girl that I got a strawberry Popsicle treat after dinner. We rode the train and It's a Small World at Disneyland too. I was so excited on the way home, I didn't think I would be able to sleep, but I conked out right away. Just like a big girl!
This was a big deal because I haven't been sleeping well the past few weeks with the excitement of being potty trained. I like to fool mommy & daddy and say I have to go potty as soon as I get into bed. I like to pull that about 4 or 5 times and really stall, so they come to visit me a lot. ;o)

Pool Time

Mommy bought me a new pool today. The one I had last summer was an inflatable one and it's not holding air or water very well anymore. We went to Toys R' Us today and somehow managed to fit this one in the car.

 I really like being in the pool after cooking at the beach all morning with my friends. The water is nice and chilly and it keeps me cool now that the temp is over 80 degrees.

Easter Sunday

Easter Egg Hunt 2011

Kana loves the annual St.Cross Easter Egg Hunt in Manhattan Beach! Her BFF Veronica joined us this year. They had a blast. Kana is always the best dressed kid in town. She was very delicate in her fancy dress today. ;o)

Weight: 35 lb 2 oz (15.933 kg)
Kana had a cough and a rash, but the pediatrician said it was just a virus and would go away on it's own. She is feeling fine now.
She is such a happy girl. She's still a good eater. She loves her fruits and veggies. She wants to read stories all day, every day! We must take a stack of stories everywhere we go. Good thing H & O sent us so many great books.
Nana was here for 2 weeks when mommy was flying, so of course, KANA IS POTTY TRAINED NOW! Nana laid down the law. No more diapers. Kana is such a big girl now. She wears her princess panties all day! We are so proud of her. ;o)

Hawaii Part 2

My Aunt Megan sent me some more photos from Hawaii. I though they were rather cute so i decided to share. I am a busy girl these days with gymnastics, library story time and school. I'm getting over a cold and I'm trying to give up my nap. Mommy and daddy aren't happy about that. Now that I'm in my toddler bed I like the freedom it gives me to roam around my room at night. I have started surprising my folks at night a little while after they put me down for the night. I hop out of bed, open the door and climb the stairs. This is something else the 'rents aren't happy about. Now there is a gate in front of my door. ;p
Daddy is back teaching and mommy is flying so I get to spend some quality time with Nana. I hope I don't wear her out but it will be fun trying. Aloha.
