Kana weighed 19lbs, 3oz today. She is still off the charts but hasn't outgrown the 1st year infant carseat like we expected. Whew! Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll get another month or two out of it! ;o)- She's growing like a weed! She is wearing 9-12month clothes.
She is sleeping better and learning to be a little more independent. She loves to screech and laugh at her toys. She rolls back and forth and loves to turn in a circle on the floor. She is a happy little girl.
We ordered her passport today so she will be ready for the annual dive trip in May.
Daddy has one more month off track to be Mr. Mom. We've learned that everyone is much happier when Kana goes to bed early after some swimming in the bathtub and storytime (before meltdown hour). Now mommy can teach her 6:30pm Pilates without worrying that Kana will be turning purple crying to daddy the whole time she is gone.
Kana completed her 1st 10K race on Superbowl Sunday. She was wide eyed, enjoying the view from the stroller the entire time... not a peep out of her!
